Lochlyn Built on water, it is a floating city made mostly of women, some pregnant and the rest tough, warrior-like females. Occasionally women seeking shelter come here and find comfort in the protection of the heavily barricaded walls. Sometimes even a male drifter or trader is allowed entrance, though carefully watched and deeply distrusted.

Dyfort An enormous rusty, eroding metal ship marooned on a cluster of cemented rocks makes up this vile place where children roam, half-naked and filthy, ready to kill when they get older and men and women alike, go on raids and massacres to other forts.

Thick Fog An impenetrable fog lays thickly, a foot off the water. Sudden and mysterious noises are heard, but the sources remain unseen. Spiked rocks jut up out of the water unexpectedly, and the unfortunate trader who gets caught in this fog will have to have some good maneuvering skills to get out of here alive and with a boat in one piece.

Ruins of Odale A strong fortress in it’s day, it is now torn down, the beams rotting away, not fit to support human weight. The downfall happened when bloodthirsty rogues came from Dyfort in need of a fight, and found one. It is rumored that you can hear the ear piercing wails and pleads for mercy on days of full moons.

Freshwater Here is a huge, natural rock basin filled with drinkable freshwater that refills every rainfall. The water is sweet, with a crisp, desirable taste that many travel far to get. It is hidden so you only see it when you are right up on it, and usually only those that are not looking for it, find it.

Seville This is a fort where, no matter who you are, you are most likely to be given entrance. A mixed crowd lives here, and on occasion, they may have an issue and be given to violence. Both the honest, and the less-than-honorable, live here. Mysterious drifters come in and out, speaking to no one, and the only reason the dwellers here stop from killing each other, is because the founder is a man with an iron fist and a firm ruler of the peace. But even he is not perfect, and sometimes blood is shed.

The Vortex It is said that at this very spot, in particularly angry and stormy weather, a large but slow vortex-like whirlpool forms here, sucking those around it in, and sending them spiraling downward into the icy black depths.
